Description

Blackjack Freedom is a simplified counting and betting system that enables anyone to master card counting forever, gain a worthwhile edge over the casinos, and if they so choose, turn that skill into a very lucrative vocation with more freedom and benefits than almost any job in the world. After years of being unable to fully master all of the required mental calculations and count-dependent strategy and bet variations required by Hi-Lo and other systems, I sat down with the intent of somehow simplifying existing methods of counting, devoting specific attention to the True Count, or count per deck. What I developed is not effortless; the technique still requires memorization of what to do and how much to bet given a certain count and deck penetration. What it does most effectively is eliminate the difficult mental calculations required to arrive at the True Count, which will enable you to more easily and accurately vary your strategy and bet amounts. No knowledge of higher math is required. If you can count forward or backward one number at a time and have an average memory then you can master card counting once and for all, realize your dream of becoming a professional Blackjack player, and enjoy all of the freedom that comes with it. Instead of many chapters and appendices full of formulas, charts, and tables already written and rewritten by dozens of authors, I will provide you with the simple mathematical explanation of what the technique is, how it works, and how to use it. I will show you how to count cards accurately with substantially less effort than that required by other systems. Included with the booklet will be an attachment of a two-sided 3 X 5 index card I developed that has a summary of all the count-dependent bet and strategy variations that you need to easily implement the system. If you don't play for a few days or weeks, simply consult the card to refresh your memory of what to do in any situation with any deck count.

About the Author

I grew up in a small town north of Chicago in a family business. My interest in casino games began at a very early age when my parents would return from their yearly trip to Las Vegas and regale me with my father's conquests or defeats at the craps table. I attended Northwestern University, graduating in 1986 with a degree in economics. I embarked on a brief, unheralded career as a stockbroker, and eventually became an accountant for private companies for the better part of thirteen years. While at Northwestern, one of my math professors had written A Book on Casino Gambling. In one section, he covered Blackjack and the fundamentals of card counting. I became fascinated with the game and the fact that it could be beat. I devoured every book on card counting that I could find, practiced and memorized all the rules and tables that I could, but was still never confident or proficient enough to risk real money in a casino. When I finally attempted it in 1991, I had two bad sessions and lost my $600 bankroll. I resolved never to play again unless my skill level increased measurably. Ten years later, I was still tinkering with different systems in an attempt to simplify the calculation of the True Count. Eventually, in 2001 I discovered a way to arrive at the True Count without having to mentally divide the Running Count by the number of decks remaining in the shoe. This simplification finally allowed me to play profitably and professionally, and is the cornerstone of Blackjack Freedom. Today, I no longer do accounting work for others. I own and operate a successful restaurant in Arizona, made possible by Blackjack Freedom. I also make frequent trips to local casinos and Las Vegas to play Blackjack. Dan Bailey is my real name, not an alias or pen name to protect my identity. I am comfortable with this for two reasons: First, the information I sell is authentic, created and copyrighted by me, and of real value, so I have no need for a pseudonym. Second, even though I continue to play Blackjack professionally in many different casinos, my anonymity is protected because I never play with a player's card that allows casinos to track my play or even know when I'm there. I sell my playing system because it in no way affects my profitability as a player and because I love the thought that my innovation gives others the financial and personal freedom that I so desperately sought for years. It has given me the life I always wanted and can do the same for anyone determined to improve theirs.
