About the Author


Mark Williams is a Reader in Sports Science at the Research Institute for Sports and Exercise Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University. He is the co-author of Mindfulness.

Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, is professor of medicine emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the founder and director of its renowned Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Clinic. His clinic was featured in 1993 in the public television series Healing and the Mind with Bill Moyers. Jon Kabat-Zinn is the author of 15 books, in print in over 45 languages. These include Full Catastrophe Living; Wherever You Go, There You Are; Coming to Our Senses; and Mindfulness for Beginners.

DR. DANNY PENMAN is an award-winning journalist and author. He has worked for the BBC and The Independent and is a feature and comment writer for the London Daily Mail. He holds a PhD in biochemistry and a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism. He is coauthor of the bestselling Mindfulness: An Eight-Week Plan to Finding Peace in a Frantic World.
